taper candle bubbles

Post by JClately »

I seem to have trouble with my taper candles when pouring. While they pour OK, I consistantly have too many bubbles in the surface. The bubbles are small but annoy me and I do not consider them first quality.

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks,

JC

JC:

I too have problems with candles this way.
My thoughts would be to systematically try different pouring methods.
ie...
Keep a close eye on you pouring temp. ( aroud 165 degrees)
pour at diffeent rates and see which allows for the bubbles to escape.

What type of molds are you using?
