I like using this antique small barrel smoker, and continued using it after the top detached from the barrel. This made the finger hold on the top even more essential, but one of the connectors pulled out and the hold came off. I went to local hardware store where you can still get individual small items, and I got 2 small screws and matching bolts along with 4 small washers. These fit the openings left by the finger hold in the smoker top. While the finger hold gets warm with use, it does not get beyond comfort level. Not elegant, but effective.
