Zulu,
Unless something has changed:

From the July-Sept 2012 Newsletter
Board members decided NOT to continue getting package bees in the
spring. There are now 3 reasonably local private bees
suppliers getting and selling packages. We were not
able to secure insurance and, given the increasing
amount of money involved, and the work and risks,
we members and new class participants now have
reasonable access to bees.
Just some thoughts.
